- higher level frame of ~ accept seasons
1. Being Flexible (~ accept seasons)
- see for example in ❐ Effortless personal productivity (or how I learned to love my monkey mind):
For example, when your mind is seeking distractions, a typical reaction is to get angry and to try to power through nevertheless. This is stupid and a recipe for burnout.
- also Cal Newport was at some point speaking about seasons, times of the year where you may get more of this done, or more of that
- ~ accept that most days you don't make major progress on projects, so don't forget to live. Unless you find a solution, then go all in.
2. Trust the System
- basically what I got out out of 📖 Atomic Habits; yes, have a small ◊ minimum valuable product ⬡ habits, but do it every god damn day (or whatever the frequency)
- otherwise, way too easy to have ⬡ one day break becomes two days becomes indefinite
- see also ◊ consistency
